Geraldine S. Hines

Hines began her legal career as a staff attorney with the Massachusetts Law Reform Institute in 1971 after graduating from University of Wisconsin Law School. She later served as a public defender with the Roxbury Defenders, before entering the private practice of law in 1982. She has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Northeastern Law School since 1980. She has also served on the Judicial Nominating Council and the Steering Committee of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. In 2002, Hines was appointed to the Superior Court of Massachusetts.
