Peter
Brown, of Westford, Mass., enlisted in the Continental Army
on April 19, 1775. He served under William Prescott at the
Battle of Bunker Hill. No further information is known about
Brown. His letter to his mother, dated June 25, 1775, is one
of the most complete accounts of the Battle written by a soldier.
