Page 17 had three attachments- two paste-downs (17.1 and 17.2) and one tab (17.3). Attachment 17.1 only has text on one side and is a revised version of the text it concealed. The text on Attachment 17.2 only has text on one side and flows directly into the recto of Attachment 17.3, which consists of a long addition to Jefferson's discussion of limestone in Query 6. When reading this page, one must flip up Attachment 17.3 to read the verso before continuing on with the full-page.
