Honorable G. Bruce Robinson (19021995) A former Assistant Attorney General, Judge Robinson was appointed a Special Justice of the Boston Juvenile Court in 1948, becoming the first African American appointed to the Massachusetts bench in the 20th century. As a special judge, he also continued in the private practice of law and in that capacity, he successfully argued Crawford v.
