Boston merchant John Rowe's diary for 5-6 March 1770 records both the events of the Boston Massacre just after they happened and the everyday life of a Bostonian at the time. Rowe also captured other significant events relating to the massacre including the trial of Captain Preston in October 1770 and the trial of the soldiers in November 1770.
