[ This description is from the project: Boston Massacre ]
Samuel Quincy, a Loyalist and solicitor general for Massachusetts who was appointed as special prosecutor for the Boston Massacre trials, writes to Robert Treat Paine, a Patriot and lawyer asked by the town of Boston to prosecute the soldiers. Quincy addresses matters of the court and requests a copy of Paine's oral argument so that it might be included in a forthcoming publication covering the trial.
