Visiting Monticello Vicariously
Series: MHS in the News
By Jeremy DibbellMaira Kalman's New York Times blog is called And the Pursuit of Happiness, and her most recent post is particularly apt, given the title. In "Time Wastes Too Fast," Ms. Kalman recounts a recent visit to Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home near Charlottesville, VA. It's a very nice piece, and even features several images from the MHS' collection of Jefferson manuscripts, including a photo from his Farm Book.
